I just watched There Will Be Blood last night - is it just me or is that Ending and the last two words uttered the best ever, or what? ... really, that movie: brilliant.

My cats think they're homeless, and my folks TV thinks it's a fireplace. What's this world coming to.

I've noticed sometimes you mention Chemistry or related classes. I am currently struggling with mine. I was wondering how you are doing with yours and if you have any suggestions?

I'm not taking chemistry right now, I was a semester ago. I remember my brain literally hurting after class, it's not easy. I genuiely love chemistry, the math part not so much - it's an interesting challenging, subject. I remember devoting hours to it, and still struggling. But when I would finally get it, I felt so pleased. Chemistry is not a subject you can pick up and throw away whenever you want, devote as much time as possible to it, before bed, after breakfast. I was lucky, my lab partner was an older asian male, he was an engineer, and had several degrees, and a whiz in math. He helped me -a lot- Because of him, I am more familiar with the metric system, before him I had such a hard time with conversions. Good Luck!

What specifically in chem, are you struggling with?

I just did! Cheers! I never did drugs going thru my black metal phase...but now that I am a smoker I just took out all my old albums and am re-experiencing them ON WEEEED. Just like Jon Stewart in half baked.

What do you mean getting High isn't productive? Pff!

I never did drugs growing up, all my friends did & that was cool for them; didn't even drink alcohol - nothing, always was in my own world... then I had a surgery, following 3 other surgeries, and opiates. But you know those pills the doctor gives me, aren't real drugs anyway ;P

I wish I could enjoy a proper high from pot, but it just makes me fall asleep or pass out in my chair drooling on myself =*( I think it's time for me to try mushrooms, hopefully my brain won't turn that activity into a bad trip.

Keep a positive environment of things that are exclusively near and dear to you..a good trip is like flying in Peter Pan's "HOOK." You need a happy thought. Or marbles that make you happy...just don't lose your marbles.

I hear ya...I did not do drugs until I was 19, the first one I tried was acid cos I was intellectually curious about psychedelics. I had tried pot prior but I didn't like it until someone introduced me to a different kind of strain (sativa, its very fluffy and uplifting) a year later.

Any, tripping at least once in your life is worth is just to be able to live for a few hours in a completely new and exciting version of the world where all your senses are super senses.

Keep the frequent posts coming! I love the quotes you posted in this entry. I've seen most of these pictures & have left comments so I will just say that Wilhelmina & Phoebe are the darnedest cute little furballs this world has to offer.

And a bit of Spanish for you to look up so that you get some practice;)

It dawned on me, I have a paid account and I hardly update. (Yeah Huge-Ass revelation, right) Being the binge-type on some things, I'm trying to make up for not being active on here previously. I used to feel like posting often would piss people off, but then I had another mind-blowing revelation when I learned, Oh well, tis my journal! Now, just need to work on having something of actual worth to post on, Ha!

Ah, you know phoebe is getting mighty old now. She seems to be exhibiting some kind of feline-dementia. She gets confused, I have to pet her a lot and point to her food dish just to get her to eat, sometimes she sits there meowing for no reason at all. Meanwhile Wilhel, is bulimic. Tricky cat, she gorges her food then chucks it back up, and tries to meow for more -.-

Have you ever seen a Scottish Fold? They are a particularly adorable breed - pricey though. Should I ever have enough money to devote to another cat, I'd go for one of those. Especially the white-coats.

Oh Hun, I'm afraid that level of Spanish is a hair too high for me to comprehend just yet! I think I notice a good handful of words though, but you're gonna have to help me out a bit!

Well I do think that since you have a paid account that you should definitely make the most of it. I doubt your posts would ever piss people off I think they'd be happy instead. If nobody wants to read what you write they can simply scroll past.

I tend to post a lot of crap but I really sometimes feel that I should document everything in my life to not forget anything & to just get everything out of my system. But now that I've been working & going to school at the same time I sometimes don't even find time for Livejournal. How old is Phoebe? So she kind of has something like Alzheimers? I've never heard of a cat being bulimic but my Aunt Mary used to have her cat on a diet because she was so fat.

No I've never seen a Scottish fold. What do you think of the Siamese ones?

Translation of Spanish text:

I hope everything is well on your end with your family & your loved ones. I have much care for you my Friend, never forget that. Always persevere & never let anyone get you down or never let anyone destroy your dreams. You are that bright shining star that outshines the rest of the stars that don't shine as much.

Hilary one of the things that I luv about you is how you always manage to provide some fulfilling mind stimulation.

With all due respect HK, your cat Phoebe looks a bit like you in that picture. The eyes and cheekbones are kind of similar to yours…anyways I’ve been thinking about getting a grey Sphynx hairless cat, but am not getting any support from my peoples.

Btw, I can’t get enough of the black leather and fishnets.

It's hard to really illustrate my thoughts lately & publicly, - I think it's a fine substitute quoting from people that have been able to define such similar thoughts & experiences. I'm not a model, so putting pictures up with no emotion, or thought attached to them is sort-of well,... like I said, I'm just not a model =)

Oh really? Haha. Phoebe is just a dear, a little sluggish these days... in another word, so yes, on that note I can see some kind of relation.

Have you ever seen a Scottish Fold? Actually click here to see the most beautiful cat in the world!:

Oh cool, aren't the hairless kitties rather pricey?

Your very kind to give me such positive words of yours. Thank you. (by the by, it's not real leather, shh!)

Awwww Hilary, that Scottish Fold is so beautiful, thanks for introducing me to the breed, they’re incredibly cute.

I’ve had dogs growing up and about 2 years ago bought a tiny little super black Cocker Spaniel but the poor little thing died of parvo disease, broke my heart so much.

Recently moving to the “pet” capital of the world, Colorado, I recently started thinking of getting a new pet; my cube mates recommended getting a cat, so I’ve recently started researching different breeds. So far my first choice was a grey Sphynx hairless cat; I’ve always adored their distinctive beauty, my family doesn’t share the love for this breed though. So I’m really fond of those Scottish Folds now, thank again for the intro, I’m going to keep looking into this breed, I can’t enough of that face, thanks for the link.

Ooh, furry kitty! Both of your cats are beautiful. Can't help but smile.
You're lookin' swank! ;o)
Your sleek and long hair is most enviable.

Quotations definitely worth thinking about. "The big question is whether you are going to be able to say a hearty; yes - to your adventure." That is the big question indeed. At the last moment backing out might be tempting.

Thanks! Yeah... they are cute little fuzzballs, indeed. Both with very different personalities. Phoebe clearly makes Wilhel her bitch.

Swank, whoot! Thanks =) Oh, you'll hate me then, I'm cutting my hair >.< It's time for a new do. Not sure when, but eventually. I need something new, maybe some bangs or frontal layers. And keep it black cherry - my all time favorite character ever, played by Ms. Famke Janssen: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/ed/Cap1410bw3hm.jpg

I love her hair in this movie! Beautiful Phoenix.

Perfect!

Backing in and out, always tempting me, both ways. I think if I were any less inconsistent, I'd have lost all sense of adventure, will, and curiosity ages ago. Mr. Campbell is very agreeable, mostly everything I've read of his so far, I actually agree with sincerely.

Phoebe looks like a strong (dominant) character, indeed. But I also notice the look Wilhelmina is giving her, heh, so I think she might be aware that orders could have been different, even though she probably have found her place a good time ago. But you never know.
My cat is in a slightly rebellious state, in her years between the frisky kitten stage and until age is keeping up with her. I think she is about eight years, now. In a way I can't wait and hope for her to let me pet her, as she won't even let me pat her back most of the times. But ruining my hair while I'm trying to watch the screen, well that's just fine. =P

You'll still be keeping most of the length, won't you? I think you can suit numerable styles, anyhow, but going from long hair to short isn't always a pleasant ride. It's even hard to say goodbye to frizzy ends, if more than an inch or two. At least that's how I feel. Frontal layers or bangs could give a nice, not too rough change; change usually feels pleasant if not too hastily done. A new do every once in a while should be more positive than anything else. Cherry black is great - good luck with the cutting, when ever you decide to make the final move!

Well then, I haven't read anything by Joseph Cambell except for these quotations, as far as I'm aware. So there I have something new to put on my agenda.

you continue to be alarming fantastically serenely: artistic. and beautiful.

i'm just wisping through not just to declare that thought, the words, but also to transmit some form of affection and hello... {smile} our lives here are soon changing: moving, cleaning, packing, decisions making. wish that all could happen simultaneously! to learning, being, dreaming, reading, creating, constructing, writing, Art. tragically, one thing seems always to 'have' to take the fore, to the detriment of all else. i hope everything goes as best and as well as it can with the case involving your grandmother. i hope things for and with you also: remain strong and sure, clear and vital.

you're in my thoughts.
quietly. vibrantly. definitely.

She lives! And you're moving - from what I've gathered from your entries, I take it that's a very frequent occurrence in your life. I rather envy that. Where do you plan to move? My favorite thing is to just get in the car with barely anything but smokes, drinks and whatever else I've got on me and just drive ... Hopping from one shitty motel to the next. - totally hasn't been the theme in my life lately though. Being broke is bullshit. When I run out of smokes and money for gas it's time to come back. But that's just it - coming back, it's the worst part. I hope things are going smoothly on your side of the map, and thank you for stopping by to think of me :* Always a pleasure. Everything feels really strange lately - I understand what you mean about priority ... sadly I'd prefer to stay trapped up inside the little cozy surreality world. Facing critique that sucks, but never quite hurts like facing the real heavy shit outside. At least that's tolerable. Maybe just an avoidant phase, overload. For the most part everything is tolerable. So I guess that counts for something.

Happy movings beautiful, glad you stopped by. I really appreciate the well words + concerning my grandmother. She is doing really well lately and her new cat friend is holding down the fort. It's been awesome to see her wearing her bright neon pink lipstick again and to actually "care" and feel again. Feels good, but it's not surprisingly still different around here and I think that is probably always going to be the theme from now on.

Hello there.

Thank you very much for the warm words. I was really drawn to your journal. I think I found you from MsMistreater. So thank you for coming by to introduce yourself. Also - sorry I just added you without leaving you with a bit of info first.

CA - Yes, not too far from each other either. You seem like a very interesting person. I did take a look around your entries first - actually, I saw your profile page and that text made me curious to explore some more. Read a few entries, and was sold on the idea of becoming a frequent reader.

Where *exactly* are you located in CA? I live about 15 minutes from Oakland, and 15 minutes from Castro Valley. Right in the middle actually. =)

Kind Regards,
