Our Lady of the Flowers | Jean Genet

“If I continue, he will rise up, become erect, and penetrate me so deeply that I shall be marked with stigmata. I can’t bear it any longer - I am turning him into a character whom, I shall be able to torment in my own way.”

“He played with her like a cat with a mouse. He was ferocious -- As she lies with her cheek on his black chest (her wig is on firmly), divine thinks about that tongue of his which is so strong while hers is so soft. Everything about Divine is soft. Softness or firmness is only a matter of tissues in which the blood is more or less abundant.”

“I skinned the woman” in the sense that one says of a rabbit: “I skinned it,” that is, carved it up. He also said: “The warden says to me straight off: “you’re a funny egg.” and I answer back: “let me tell you, eggs like me are worth just as much as eggs like you.”

“I like my lovers to be bow-legged, like Jockies, so they can grab me around the thighs better when they ride me.”

Divine is dead, is dead and buried. . .

. . . is dead and buried.

“I have quit, the way a contestant in a six-day bicycle race quits; yet the memory of his eyes and their fatigue, which I have to cull from the face of another youngster whom I saw coming out of a brothel, a boy with firm legs and ruthless cock, So solid that I might say it was knotted, and his face (it alone, seen without it’s veil), which asks for shelter like a knight-errant-this memory refuses to disappear as the memory of my dream-friends usually does.”

“I close my eyes. Divine and Darling. To Darling, Divine is barely a pretext, an occasion. If he thought of her, he would shrug his shoulders to shake off the thought, as if the thought were a dragons claws clinging to his back. But to divine, Darling is everything. She takes care of his penis. She caresses it with the most profuse tenderness and calls it by the kind of pet names used by ordinary folk when they feel horny. Such expressions as Little Dicky, the Babe in the Cradle, Jesus in His manger, the Hot Little Chap, your Baby Brother, without her formulating them, take on full meaning. Her feeling accepts them literally. Darling’s penis is in itself all of Darling: the object of her pure luxury.”

Our Lady was singing:

SOY DREAM ICE CREAM and other things my diet consists of, which doesn't exactly help me gain weight =\

Thanks to Mary - for swapping books with me when we should be taking notes in class. I've been preoccupied reading this book all day, relaxing, indulging and spending time with my mumsy; Bryan's over now too to spend the day with my mom as well. I think we'll be leaving to his place in a few hours since his house is empty and we are house sitting for a week. We haven't decided if we should utilize having a house to ourselves to be alone, romantic, relaxed or use the house, space and privacy for creative projects.
Maybe, hopefully we'll feel like doing both. This is my LAST WEEK OF CLASSES. I have the next month and some change, off ! But with that news, means - it's final exams time again...
I just came from the store, I was craving some more French Vanilla Soy Dream Ice Cream. I also picked up a new flavor pecan something or other. Really effin good. My subscriptions to Scientific American & SciAmer MIND aren't here yet, they always arrive on time, but for some reason this batch isn't here yet, I hope they're just late.

T&A is over-rated. It is all about them hot, wet, little organs tightly stuffed inside your gut. I don't know about you - but every time I see a pair of perforated kidneys I am forced to pardon myself, to change my knickers. Nobody gets breast implants or nose jobs anymore, it's all about the kidney implants - get hip.

One of the books I received during the Winter Holidays:

A Giant Human Anatomy Book. It has huge images, accurate English & Greek text descriptions along with historical facts and time lines - It isn't all human anatomy it goes into things like acupuncture, cell mutation, veterinary pathology, medicine etc. I was floored when I received this gift. Anyways a snippet, and just that.

I purchased new gloves...

I don't know about you, but I think THESE are the winning pair, have you ever seen such elegant SEXY, rubber... =P

new shoes! (well, 4 months ago...) I found these at PAYLESS ON SALE, even.

Current & Previous Book Subjects | Studies I’ve been into, and looking for:

Biological Warfare & Historical Warfare, propaganda, history and chemical structure of creating bombs; perverse governmental creation - mishaps, doomsday, atomic bomb, weaponry, machinery used during the civil wars, WWI & WWII. Military operations. War Crime.

Charles Lindbergh.

Anything on Northern Korea. (for obvious & unfortunate reasons)

ANYTHING on Upton Sinclair, and if anyone owns the book ‘The Jungle” could you please loan it to me.

ANYTHING on Eastern Philosophy: This is mostly what I've been into, apart from science. I’ve been intently studying, Taoism - and various eastern philosophies and beliefs. I might almost say if I were to be apart of anything religiously - this is where I’d find myself.

More on Lao Tzu.

Islamic studies.

Law(s) of Thermodynamics.

Ornithology: Birds & Bird watching. (so geeky, I know)

CIVIL WARS:
- Genpei Wars (1180–1185)
- La Violencia (1948-1958)
- First Islamic Civil War (656–661)
-Satsuma Rebellion (I forget the dates late 1800’s)

& There's too many to list, I’m interested in, (mostly all of the civil wars).

I always mean to be brief, but one things leads to another: and there you have it, all my damned blasted, malarkey on Livejournal.

Thanks for reading, viewing and suggesting (I think I would have to agree with you - I'm a bit slack on here lately) Funnily enough I look forward to school breaks so I can spend time on things I enjoy, more - online and other =)

TOTALLY IRRELEVANT, so let's get on with it
[info]dusks_requiem

This post made me think about the concept that all human souls are derived from hierarchical archetypes that almost look like branches of a tree coming from one source. A simple way to think of this is of an infinite source which contains every archetype of human, which splits into what eventually become each zodiac sign, and then again into individual people. Hell you can probably have this even become individual CELLS but we're not going that deep tonight.

The 12 zodiac signs are also archetypes for behavior and these also split up into multitudes of infinitely more unique and creative designs. Over a looooong infinite process these become what I call "Soul Groups." Soul groups are like an archetype of a kind of person you know.

For example there is the Myspace scenester soul group. While many different people come out of this who are ultimately unique human beings, they are each bound by this soul group theme. Ultra styled hair asymetrically cut, laods of MAC makeup, etc, you're on myspace so you know what I'm talking about. One this archetype appears enough on the earth it begins to look like what we'd call a Cliche. Interesting. Anyway this is just one example.

I like to think of Soul Groups as looking like jellyfish - there's a giant mass of infinite information in a bubble at the top and this extends thru many arms down to what become people.

It's also cool to pretend each of these soul groups actually have their own planets in dimensions we can't see, and they sometimes incarnate on earth at just the right time to offer something to it or learn some kind of lesson.

Anyway, there's totally a Soul Group for a theme that your aesthetic tastes derive from. You're infinitely unique as Hilary Keller, but this jellyfish of creative information and you share a connection and it is your creative source. The archetype of a vampish pale lady who loves fishnet textures, anatomy, introversion, reading, and examining the world from the perspective of almost always being on some form of mild downer.

Imagine there's a whole dimension like that based around that theme in dream space. Anna Varney actually lives in an enourmous castle and governs a village. Take that and run with it..wow what a wonderful world.

The whole idea of THOUGHTSPACE and how a lot of that overlaps into reality is a territory that writers like Alan Moore touches on in his graphic novel FROM HELL (so completely different from the movie that the movie might as well have starred Fred Flintstone rather than Johnny Depp).

The idea of psychogeography and dream space are right on the cusp of critical and spiritual philosophy these days.

And yes, Ms Hilary is definately of an archetype while still distinctly being herself.

I have to message you for your addy again, or just message me back with it.

There's some excellent stuff about Lindbergh's fascination with Nazism too - I don't usually go for that kind of "pot-shots-at-heroes-now-that-they're-dead" stuff but it kind of ties into his philiosophies. Not unlike the stuff that Ayn Rand was cooking up at the same time.

We have to chat again soon.

I've just gotten into learning about how Lindbergh made the first flight from NY to Paris, without stopping. It's pretty grueling how he didn't sleep for 3DAYS, and once fell asleep but woke up mid-flight because he'd literally nearly crashed the plane, and had icy water flakes on his face from being that close to the water, which woke him. I wonder what he used for a bathroom? He literally made it like a few feet over the mark from where he could land in order to win. He became like a celebrity after that, I believe - but hated it. I really want to read more about those 3 days in flight, his political views during that time - and his beliefs all together. The spirit of St. Luis, I think the plane was called. I wonder if they still have it, like a piece of it for viewing at a museum.

I read a mob of people came to take samples of his plane to save a piece of his glory. (and the plane was made out of like, canvas material, and still made it) Wild.

I'm a sucker for stories about driven people, who accomplish the impossible tasks. I love the kind of mentality where one, drives forth without stopping based just on having that much passion and will to do something, despite the odds and being degraded, discredited, or negated the whole way.

I'll gladly resend my addy, we DO need to converse, more & soon. I can't wait for break!

The book looks quite interesting it looks like something I'd definitely enjoy reading. I came home & saw some of that Silk chocolate soy milk apparently Hageera bought it I've never tried it I've only had the regular kind of soy milk which I didn't like - then again I'm pretty much picky for everything. You have your own signature way of taking + editing pics I am always left in awe with how they look & how you use textures. The human anatomy book looks awesome. I remember the acupuncture magnets I got put in my ear when I was ill according to my friend Hageera's religion acupuncture is of the dark arts it's funny to hear the stuff she sometimes says I've known quite a lot of people who have been treated with acupuncture.

Beautiful shoes I used to have some like that back in the day except they were black & white & they didn't have such a big heel. I've been very interested in WW II from a very young age I hope that you find the material you are looking for. Just the other day Miguel & I were watching the Discovery channel & they were talking about the bomb that Stauffenberg set for Hitler. I find that Hitler was a great leader though I don't praise all the killings he did. Those are a very pretty pair of gloves both the fishnet & the blue one's. It's amazing how you can make gloves look so artistic. I feel like a fool for asking this but what is it that you are holding in your hands in the second picture of you in the fishnet gloves? Do enjoy your vacation & best of luck on your final exams! <3

Again, I will debate you this "I couldn't write to save my life" mentality. You understand words via quotes and how to manipulate them to fit together into a particular theme or mood and that's really all writing is. Merely a matter at that point of how you express your own quotes. Which reminds me (and nothing EVER seems to aid me in recollection these days) that I should post the first link for our mutual effort this evening once all my other spiritual chores have been completed. I began worrying about the purpose and perfection of my efforts...scratching my head and thinking, "Well this isn't any good!'...then realized I was missing the point entirely. You'll teach me. May take a while, but I'll learn eventually. ;)

Okay. Talk with you soon, liebschien. Later.

Soy Ice Cream, I am so envious! I don't think I can get hold on here in this country. Neither is there a good selection of soy products, which is a shame. Sounds delightful, though. But I will ask you to be a little careful with sugar in your diet; actually it sugar can make you weight gaining less successful. But I'll not rant about that today. =P

Unfortunately I haven't read any books by Jean Genet, but I am certainly interested now! And it pleases me to se the the reference to Jean-Paul sartre. I'll most definitely try and pick it up. Unfortunately my birthday has passed already, but now I reckon the money I got will be spent rather quickly - and I think I know how they'll be used. I did get a nice pile of books, anyhow: do you know of a book called
Atlas of Human Anatomy and Surgery by Jean-Marie Le Minor and Henri Sick? If not, I think it might be of your interest.

I see you are listening to the Unplugged album by Alice in Chains. Thanks for intentionally reminding me of that. While I think the whole album is great, especially I find the version of Down in a Hole touching... It sends shivers down my spine in a good way, and leaves me - in lack of better word - in awe.

Hmm. That's horrendous news - the soy/soya section is un-plentiful in your region, aye? Well, you must come here one day so I can fix you up all good and proper like, with a huge bowl of this pecan soy dream ice cream I've got in my freezer. I've tried the Vanilla, and the pecan & i'll be happy to report - so far so good. My boyfriend was sweet the other night (during our blasted, god forsaken, heat wave of 102°) BLASPHEMOUS heat let me reiterate - [also during this heat I had to sit in my class sweating like a mother fucker, taking my FINAL - & all the while a near by fire was causing a stench so unholy, I almost felt like scribbling the test in half-assed to leave campus. Fortunately no one was inured by the fire, and the smoke soon dissipated... as I was LEAVING campus, that is] - yes & more off topic than usual, the boyfriend: He made us a soy dream root beer float. Ah, If I could send you one via snail mail I would.

It was divine, and I almost feel guilt mentioning it, because you are unable to partake ;_;

Oh - if you please...!

DO read this book, and you must tell me what you think, when or if you do read it. Perversity, at it's finest. I must insist it's a memorable, read.

ALICE IN CHAINS !<3 HARDcoreLOVE.

Down In A Hole quite the irony as you mention. It is my most favorite song, for many reasons. I love the lyrics, I love the voice, the guitar, the whole song hits me in places I very well do intend hiding, but am suddenly unable upon hearing the song (every time) every time. Layne Staley, I could go on and on about the reasons I seek him in such ways I have and do. His unfortunate death - and his GF's death - the drugs, the whole of his persona, scream too familiarly. I'm so geeky, you know I have a whole bunch of his memorabilia saved. Yes and I just found these gems: (I must share them with you!)

http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/l/layne_staley.html

I love AIC. I love who Layne S. was and still very well is, and his voice is irreplaceable, moving and well... sexy!

ANOTHER FAV: I forgot the name of the song but the lyrics go like this: (as I now begin to actually sing and hum this, aloud to myself like a big baboon) Wait Nvm... I just remembered it's called I Stay Away. (Ha,Ha. I'm not even going to bother erasing that. =P)

I've never looked into those books. But if you are recommending I do so, I think I just will. What are they about?

And the name "Divine". I've always found mixing sexuality and Christian symbology was "hot". De Sade thought so as well. You're quoting prayers and fondling. There's something extremely erotic about praying to the Trinity in the midst of some sexual practice.

But I guess it's really a Catholic thing; I was brought up as one, so it's only normal. Every altar boy thinks how it would be to f*** on the altar, or to desecrate the flash of Christ with the unholy male white fluid. (There's nothing anti-Catholic in this; it's precisely the most Catholic thing you can do, to have such fantasies; you then feel "guilt" and that you aren't "pure", as a child, and the more you feel those, the more you need the Church, and to confess... And the Church wants that, those feelings, of guilt, and shame, and regret.) ((So I guess there's still some Catholicism in me, or else I wouldn't find these images so sexually stimulating.))
